Plastisol screen printing. Inks are thicker and rougher than our standard printing and the ink sits on top of the shirt. When this ink is cured the water based solvents evaporate leaving behind only the pigmented binder compounds less of an ink deposit than plastisol. Plastisol printing is the traditional style of screen printing. Plastisols are the most commonly used inks for printing designs on to garments and are particularly useful for printing opaque graphics on dark fabrics.
So a plastisol print is a layer of solidified plastic that sits on top of the fabric. Make a printout of the areas that are the first color and use that to make a screen. These inks can be printed on any garment or fabric and work best in small print areas. Change the screen to the one for the second color and apply that color.
Plastisol screen printing inks are typically used on all blended tees in place of our standard inks. Repeat for each color. Water based ink while not completely free of plastic is mostly water soluble and absorbs into the fabric. Apply the color with the first screen and then let it dry.
Make one screen for each color. Plastisol inks are not water soluble. Plastisol inks ryonet proudly distributes wilflex screen printing plastisol inks.
